We are finally exclusively able to present the video for the new single 'Baby You're My Light'. The QuickTime movie is currently only available as a small file format, so the quality is not as high as the larger file that is due to be posted up soon (sorry about the delay for the larger file, it is something we are working on with regards to expanding the size of the site in general). The video can be viewed in the Downloads section, or you could just click here.

'Baby You're My Light' is released through Setanta Records on the 4th of February. The single is taken from the album 'Late Night Final', to listen to audio clips from the album (including the single 'Baby You're My Light') click here.

Lets crack the champers, because the new single 'Baby You're My Light' (out 4th of February on Setanta Records) has been picked as single of the week in this weeks NME! Talk about a great start to the year!

You'll be able to get an exclusive viewing of the video for the single on this website early next week. And, It's still Jo Whiley's record of the week (her 'pet sound' if you will) on Radio 1.

The live acoustic session for Radio 1's new programme 'The Blue Room' will be broadcast in the wee small hours of Saturday January 19th (it's for people who haven't gone to bed from Friday night). The 3 songs will be 'Something Is' & 'Long Black Train' from the 'Late Night Final' LP, together with a brand new song provisionally titled 'It's Over, Love'.

Richard will be performing 'Baby You're My Light' live on Eire's famous TV show 'Late Late Show' on Friday January 18th (the programme best know outside of Ireland for bringing Boyzone together for their first 'performance').

LIVE NEWS. Richards first full headline tour has been confirmed for February and March. At present dates include Dublin, Manchester, Sheffield, Glasgow, Portsmouth, London and a select number in France and Germany. For full details, and booking details, go to the Live Dates section.

WEBSITE NEWS. We have now added the Message Board section to the site. So if there is anything you would like to ask or say (well write anyway) to Richard now is your chance to send them in. Richard will try to answer all the emails he receives, and some lucky people will even receives a gift....

4th January
Welcome back.

It's been a busy beginning to the year so far, but firstly the single 'Baby You're My Light' is now out on 4th of February (1 week later than stated previously). The single is getting a great reception so far, Mark & Lard have been playing it on Radio 1, Jo Wiley has selected it as her 'record of the week' for next week (starting 7th of January), and Radio 2 have added the single to their playlist from next week.

On other news, Richard is recording a 3 song solo acoustic session at Maida Vale, London, on Monday the 7th for Radio 1's new programme 'The Blue Room'. Also on the radio front, he's also been asked to do a Live Lounge session for Jo Wiley.

Finally, Mark & Lard played 'So Young' by Hoggboy today and name-checked Richard at the end of the track for producing the song (his production debut!).

WEBSITE NEWS. We will shortly be starting the Message Board section of the site, where you can email questions and comments to Richard (who will be reading them ALL). Richard plans to reply to all those sent in, and the best ones will be displayed in the Message Board section. More details to follow, but it should be up and running very soon.
